Iwate University
Sixtieth Anniversary Declaration
Since its founding in 1949, Iwate University, as an institution of education and research for exploring veracity in knowledge, has contributed to its community by developing human resources equipped with a liberal education and professional expertise, and creating an outstanding academic culture through innovative and interdisciplinary research. From a global perspective, Iwate University, together with the local community, will continue to be a trailblazer toward an age of coexistence, aiming to help construct a sustainable society.
With this mission in mind Iwate University will firmly maintain the good faith and perseverance that it has cultivated for the past years while it served as a hub of knowledge and culture.
