1⃣ If you have cold symptoms refer to the flowchart 1

If you have cold symptoms (such as a cough, fever, sore throat etc.), extreme fatigue, shortness of
breath, please stay home and rest, and do not come to school. Refrain from outings. You may attend
school or go to work the day after your symptoms end.

Procedures for absence from the University due to sickness (by reporting these, the absence
  will be excused).
  1. Submit the "Fever Reporting Form" through the web page.
  2. Students should report to the instructors in charge of their classes (via WebClass) that they will
    be absent from class due to sickness.
    Faculty and staff members should report to their department that they will be absent from work
    due to sickness.
  3. Report your health conditions by noon everyday using app, "健康日記(Kenkou Nikki)" every day
    until you are allowed to come back to school.

  If you cannot use the app, "健康日記(Kenkou Nikki)", please e-mail your body temperature and
  health conditions (if you have fatigue, shortness of breath, cough, runny nose, stuffy nose, sore
  throat, headache, diarrhea, etc., or not) to the Iwate University Health Care Center.

How to consult and/or see a doctor
  If you have symptoms and would like to consult and/or see a doctor, please contact your family
  doctor or medical institution near you by phone.
  If you don't know where to consult, please call the following consultation center, and consult
  with the medical institution you are referred to.

After visiting a medical institution
  ●If your PCR test result is positive: please refer to the flowchart 2.

  ●If your PCR test result is negative:
   You are allowed to return to school when symptoms disappear.

  ●When PCR testing is not performed
   You will be allowed to go to school or work after one day of recovery from the symptoms.
