In the first semester of 2021, classes will be held face-to-face in general (face-to-face classes with attention to preventing infection). However, classes that are considered necessary to prevent infections on campus will be conducted in a remote class style.
Please note that all classes may be conducted remotely due to the higher BCP level.

Three Types of Remote Learning

Remote classes will be conducted in the following three ways.

Materials are distributed, and then assignments are given. The instructor will contact you regarding the materials and assignments through iAssistant 2.0. They will be distributed, assigned and/or submitted using WebClass.

2 On-demand Type

This lesson type includes video materials and distributed assignments. The instructor will contact you regarding the materials and assignments through the iAssistant 2.0. They will be distributed, assigned and/or submitted using WebClass.

3 Live Lecture type

This is a lesson type uses Web video conference systems. The instructor will inform you which system such as Cisco WebEx, Zoom, Google Hangouts Meet, etc. to be used.

For those who have difficulty participating in live lectures due to their PC, internet connectivity, living environment, etc., please be assured that we will try to prepare the lecture contents so that you can see them at a later date.

Message from the Instructors

Not only in remote classes, but also in other classes, the instructor will notify the students via "学務関連新着情報, What's New in Academic Affairs" in i-Assistant 2.0 and messages in WebClass.
Be sure to check it several times a day (as needed) so that you don't overlook anything.

Use of lecture rooms and other facilities in each faculty

Restrictions on the use of lecture rooms and other facilities in each faculty (including the Student Center Buildings) during the remote learning period will be announced via i-Assistant 2.0.
Students are requested to follow the notice accordingly.
