What a wonderful trip to Paradise Beach!

What a beautiful beach it is! Now many may think about Paradise Beach. Which is Paradise Beach? Actually, there is no such beach that is called Paradise Beach. So why did I use this name? Because the beach I am going to write about today is so beautiful that you can call it paradise. So now the second question may come to your mind, what is the name of this Paradise Beach?

I am talking about none another beach, this is Jodogahama beach. Many foreigners like me may not know that "Jodogahama" is a Buddhist word meaning "Pure Land or Paradise". Jodogahama Beach, or "Pure Land Beach", is one of the most famous spots of natural beauty on the Rikuchu coast. The stark contrast of the sharp, white rocks, green pines and deep blue sea was compared to a Pure Land or Heaven by a Buddhist monk named Reikio, hence the name "Jodogahama".

We are so close to this beautiful beach, so we chose this place for our Eid trip. First of all, I want to talk about what is Eid. Eid is the biggest and most important religious festival of Muslims. However, plans are made for travel. I was very excited to see the beach. I had already seen pictures of the beach on the internet. Then, I talk about that morning of that day, that the day we wanted to go. The morning started with rain. I was upset. Whether I will be able to go or not, whether I will be able to travel after going or not, various questions were coming in my mind. But Alhamdulillah, we reached the beach in good condition. The rain had stopped.

I got down from the car and went to the water. Actually, the beauty of the beach was so beautiful that I was enjoying it with fascination. Coming to such a beautiful beach, it is impossible not to get into the water. So, I enjoyed going down in the water for a while. Then pictures were being taken. On the other hand, the boys were preparing lunch. So, after taking pictures we had our lunch. It was almost afternoon to finish lunch. We wanted to board the ship to see the whole place, but we were unlucky not to board this time. Because it was past 4 o'clock. We were a bit disappointed, but the few moments later we felt better because disappointment didn't affect us. After that, we had passed a great time with each other.

Everyone has a latent desire to enjoy heavenly happiness or beauty. I am no exception. So, I spent some time alone in the late afternoon with heavenly nature. And I was staring at the sharp, white rocks, the green pines and the deep blue sea and losing myself. Every wave of the sea was soothing me, and I was wondering that how is nature is selflessly imparting beauty at its own pace. So, this journey ends with the thought that any selfless sacrifice can be as beautiful as this nature.

এটা কি সুন্দর সমুদ্র সৈকত! এখন অনেকের মনে হতে পারে প্যারাডাইস বিচের কথা। প্যারাডাইস বিচ কোনটি? আসলে, প্যারাডাইস বিচ বলে এমন কোনো সমুদ্র সৈকত নেই। তাহলে আমি কেন এই নাম ব্যবহার করলাম? কারণ আজ আমি যে সমুদ্র সৈকতটির কথা লিখতে যাচ্ছি তা এত সুন্দর যে আপনি একে স্বর্গ বলতে পারেন। তাহলে এখন আপনার মনে দ্বিতীয় প্রশ্ন আসতে পারে, এই প্যারাডাইস বিচের নাম কী?

আমি আর কোন সমুদ্র সৈকতের কথা বলছি না, এটা জোদোগাহামা সৈকত। আমার মত অনেক বিদেশী হয়তো জানেন না যে "জোদোগহামা" একটি বৌদ্ধ শব্দ যার অর্থ "বিশুদ্ধ ভূমি বা স্বর্গ"। জোদোগাহামা সমুদ্র সৈকত, বা "বিশুদ্ধ ভূমি সৈকত", রিকুচু উপকূলে প্রাকৃতিক সৌন্দর্যের অন্যতম বিখ্যাত স্থান। তীক্ষ্ণ, সাদা পাথর, সবুজ পাইন এবং গভীর নীল সমুদ্রের সম্পূর্ণ বৈপরীত্যকে রেইকিও নামে একজন বৌদ্ধ সন্ন্যাসী একটি বিশুদ্ধ ভূমি বা স্বর্গের সাথে তুলনা করেছিলেন, তাই নাম "জোদোগাহামা"।

আমরা এই সুন্দর সমুদ্র সৈকতের এত কাছাকাছি আছি তাই আমরা আমাদের ঈদ ভ্রমণের জন্য এই জায়গাটি বেছে নিয়েছিলাম । প্রথমত বলতে চাই , ঈদ কি? ঈদ মুসলমানদের সবচেয়ে বড় ও গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ধর্মীয় উৎসব। যাইহোক, ভ্রমণটি পরিকল্পনা করা হল । আমি সমুদ্র সৈকত দেখার জন্য খুব উৎকণ্ঠিত ছিলাম। কারণ, আমি ইতিমধ্যে ইন্টারনেটে সমুদ্র সৈকতের ছবি দেখেছিলাম । তারপর, আমরা যেই দিন যেতে চেয়েছিলাম সেই দিনের সকালের কথা বলি। সকালটা শুরু হলো বৃষ্টি দিয়ে। মনটা একটু খারাপ হয়ে গেল। যেতে পারব কি না, যাবার পরও বেড়াতে পারব কি না, এমন বিভিন্ন ধরণের প্রশ্ন মাথায় ঘুরপাক খাচ্ছিল । তবে আলহামদুলিল্লাহ আমরা ভালো অবস্থায় সমুদ্র সৈকতে পৌঁছেছিলাম । বৃষ্টি থেমে গিয়েছিলো ।

গাড়ি থেকে নেমেই চলে গেলাম পানির কাছে। আসলেই সমুদ্র সৈকত এর সুন্দর্য এত টাই সুন্দর ছিল যে আমি মুগ্ধ হয়ে উপভোগ করছিলাম। এত সুন্দর একটা সমুদ্র সৈকত এ আসে পানিতে নামবো না তা তো হয় না। সুতরাং কিছুক্ষন পানিতে নেমে উপভোগ করলাম। তারপর ছবি তোলা হচ্ছিলো। অন্যদিকে দুপুরের খাবারের আয়োজন করছিলো ছেলেরা। তো, ছবি তোলার পর আমরা দুপুরের খেয়ে নিয়েছিলাম। দুপুরের খাবার শেষ করতে প্রায় বিকাল হয়ে গিয়েছিলো। আমরা চেয়েছিলাম জাহাজ এ উঠবো পুরো জায়গাটা দেখার জন্য কিন্তু আমাদের ভাগ্য খারাপ এই বার তাই উঠতে পারি নাই। কারণ ৪টার বেশি বেজে গিয়েছিলো। একটু হতাশ হয়েছিলাম কিন্তু এর পরের সময় আরো ভালো কেটেছিল তাই হতাশার কোনো প্রভাব পরেনি আমাদের উপর। আমরা একে ওপরের সাথে অনেক ভালো সময় কাটিয়েছিলাম।

সবার মনেই এক সুপ্ত ইচ্ছা থাকে স্বর্গীয় সুখ অথবা সুন্দর্য উপভোগ করার । আমিও ব্যতিক্রম না। তাই, পড়ন্ত বিকেলে কিছুটা সময় একাকী সময় কাটিয়েছিলাম স্বর্গীয়তুল্য প্রকৃতির সাথে। আর অপলক দৃষ্টিতে তীক্ষ্ণ, সাদা পাথর, সবুজ পাইন এবং গভীর নীল সমুদ্রের দিকে ছিলাম আর নিজেকে হারিয়ে ফেলছিলাম। সমুদ্রের প্রতিটি ঢেউই যেন আমাকে আনমনা করে দিচ্ছিলো আর ভাবাচ্ছিল প্রকৃতি তার আপন গতিতে সৌন্দর্য বিলিয়ে যাচ্ছে কি নিঃস্বার্থভাবে । সুতরাং, এই ভ্রমণের সমাপ্তি হয় এইটা ভাবতে ভাবতে যে, যেকোনো নিঃস্বার্থ ত্যাগই হয়তো এই প্রকৃতির মতো সুন্দর হয়।
