　本学の協定校である米国・アーラム大学サイスプログラム引率教員による講演会です。
　所得格差の問題は政治と経済の観点から注目を浴びていますが、特にピケティによる「21世紀の資本論」が出版され大きな関心を呼んでいます。この講義では、不公平の計測方法、日米とその他の国々でどのような傾向があるか、なぜ違いがあるのかと今後に向けて概観します。 講演会で日本だけの問題ではない格差について一緒に考えてみませんか。

Income inequality has long been an issue in both the political and economic arenas, but the huge sensation caused by the 2013 publication of Thomas Pikkety's book, Capital in the Twenty-First Century, rocketed the topic into the sphere of public interest. This lecture will talk about how inequality is measured, trends in inequality in the US, Japan, and other countries, some reasons for the differences, and the outlook for the future.
