岩手大学イーハトーブサマープログラム（IUIS）スタンダードプランは、日本語と日本文化を学ぶ2週間の夏季プログラムです。海外大学に在籍する学生が対象で、日本語入門と中級の２つのコースで募集します。参加者は、キャンパス内の留学生向け学生寮（国際交流会館）で生活しながら、日本語授業のほか、日本文化体験やフィールドトリップを通じて、日本や岩手について理解を深めることができます。

◇プログラム実施期間
2026年8月18日（火）～8月31日（月）　（13泊14日）

◇実施部局
主催：岩手大学国際教育センター

◇プログラム実施場所
岩手大学、岩手県内、盛岡市

◇プログラム期間中の宿泊先
岩手大学国際交流会館（シェアタイプ、または個室の場合もあります）

◇プログラム内容
午前：日本語授業
午後：日本文化体験、（週末）フィールドツアー

◇参加対象者
海外の大学に在籍する学生で日本語レベルが①入門／日本語未経験者、または②中級前半レベル・話す日本語／N3以上の方

◇プログラム実施人数
最小10名～最大20名
・Aコース（入門日本語／日本語未経験者）：10名
・Bコース（中級前半レベル・話す日本語／N3以上）：10名
注：応募者が多数の場合、協定校からの学生を優先とする。

◇単位について
単位は付与しません。参加者には修了証書を発行します。

◇保険
来日前に各種海外旅行保険に事前加入が必要です。

◇プログラム参加費
協定校の学生である場合：18万円（日本円）／1名
協定校の学生ではない場合：22万円（日本円）／1名
※１．協定校の学生の場合、参加費の一部は岩手大学で補助しています。
※２．参加者が16名以上の場合、参加費は2万円安くなります。

We are pleased to announce that we are now taking applications for the Iwate University IHATOV Summer Program (IUIS) 2026.

The Iwate University IHATOV Summer Program (IUIS), a new program this academic year, is a 2-week program where students can learn Japanese language and culture. This program is open to students who are enrolled in overseas universities, and offers two Japanese courses, an introductory course, and a lower intermediate course. Participants will be able to deepen their understanding of Japan and Iwate through not only Japanese classes but also Japanese cultural activities and field trips while staying in an international student housing on campus (International House).

◇Program Period
August 18-31, 2026 (13 nights / 14 days)

◇Organized by
Iwate University International Education Center

◇Venue
Iwate University and facilities in Morioka city and Iwate Prefecture

◇Accommodation
Iwate University International House (shared rooms, or single rooms in some cases)

◇Program Types
Japanese classes (morning), Japanese culture classes (afternoon), and field trips (weekends)

◇Target Participants
Students enrolled in overseas universities (including partner universities)
Japanese level:
① Introductory / no experience in Japanese
② Intermediate & advanced speaking Japanese / N3 or higher

◇Number of Participants 　
Minimum 10 students and maximum 20 students
・ Course A (Introductory Japanese / no Japanese experience): Max. 10
・ Course B (Intermediate & advanced speaking Japanese / N2 or above): Max. 10
※Note: In the case of a large number of applicants, priority will be given to students from partner universities.

◇Credits
No credits will be granted. Certificate of completion will be issued to the participants.

◇Insurance
Participants must purchase overseas travel insurance before coming to Japan.

◇Participation Fee
・For students enrolled in one of our partner universities:180,000 JPY / person
・For students not enrolled in one of our partner universities:220,000 JPY / person
※The participation fee above is partially subsidized by Iwate University for students enrolled in one of our partner universities.
※If the total number of participants exceeds 16, the participation fee will be reduced by approximately 20,000 JPY.
