写真募集「第４回外国人留学生による"岩手のいいところ"写真展」

こんにちは。岩手大学国際課です。

岩手にきて、見たこと、感じたこと、みなさんたくさんのことを、写真に収めていると思いますが、その思い出の写真を、写真展に出してみませんか？
優秀作品には、賞品として岩手県産品が授与されます。

みなさんのすてきな1枚の写真を待っています。

１．開催趣旨・内容：

外国人留学生による"岩手のいいところ"をテーマに、岩手県内の大学などに在籍する外国人留学生から写真を募集して、広く一般市民に向けた展覧会を開催します。また、優秀作品を選定し表彰します。

第４回目となる今回は、テーマを「岩手での出会い」とし、留学生のみなさんが岩手に来て、日常生活の中で感じた印象的な出会い、例えば、人や文化、風景などを表現した写真を募集します。

２．応募方法など：

（１）テーマ：留学生の「岩手での出会い」

例・岩手で出会った印象的な人物、風景、文化、料理、お祭り　など

（２）応募条件：岩手県内で留学生本人が撮影した写真。１人１点まで。

応募作品は他のコンクール等に未発表のものに限る。

※注：人物写真の場合、被写体である人物に写真展示の了承を得ること。

なお、応募作品は返却しない。

（３）写真データについて

①紙で提出する場合：A3程度の写真用紙に現像すること。

②データで提出する場合：データ形式はJPEGとする。

※スマートフォンで撮影した場合、切り取りなど加工していない写真

Call for entries: The 4th "Best of Iwate" International Student

Photography Contest and Exhibition: Encounters in Iwate

1. Purpose and description:

This is a photography contest and exhibition designed for international students in colleges and universities in Iwate. It shall serve as an exhibition open to the general public and as a screening opportunity to decide on best work. The overarching theme is "Best of Iwate". The contest provides international students an opportunity to use a non-verbal format to express their perceptions of Iwate to the general public. The focus of this year's contest is "Encounters in Iwate", and welcomes international students' impression of people, culture, scenery, or any aspect of life in Iwate.

2. Dates:

Entry period: Dec. 1, 2016-Jan. 20, 2017

Exhibition period: Feb. 10, 2017-Feb. 20, 2017

Award ceremony: February 20, 2017

3. Entrant requirements:

Entrants must be international students enrolled in a higher education institution in Iwate that are members of the Iwate Association for International Students and Communities.

4. Subject: "Encounters in Iwate"

(1) Subject examples: people, scenery, culture, food, festivals, etc. pertaining to, or inspired from, Iwate.

(2) One photograph per entrant. The entry must be unpublished work that has never been submitted to another contest. If the entry is a portrait, please receive the subject's (model's) permission before submitting the photograph. Entries will not be returned.

(3) Entry procedure: Entrants must fill out an entry form, and submit it with their photograph to International office at Iwate University.

The photograph may be either a printed or image or in digital form (JPEG).

1. Printed image: Must be at A3 size and on photographic paper (not standard A3 printer paper).

2. Digital image: Must be in JPEG format and at high resolution, as electronic images will be enlarged to A3 size. (Most recent-model smartphones can meet this requirement.)

(4) Deadline: The Iwate University International Office must receive your entry via e-mail or post by Jan. 20, 2017.

5. Exhibition venues (in succession):

Azalea Gallery in the Iwate University Library, Iwate International Association at Aiina, the National Iwatesan Youth Friendship Center.

6. Prize: Winners will receive awards and prizes.
