本日のグローバルビレッジ・ワークショップは、スコットランド出身の本学教員ジム・スマイリ先生による、スコットランドの文化紹介でした。笑いあり、先生によるリコーダーの美しい演奏あり、歴史への敬意と景観美あり（スコットランドでは数百年前に建てられた家屋は今でも現役で、人が住んでいるとのことです！）。「イギリスとは違う」スコットランドの魅力を知る、貴重な機会でした。スマイリ先生、ありがとうございました！

The Global Village enjoyed an exciting and insightful workshop about Scottish culture. From history, to academics, to technology, to the arts (including live music!), recorder maestro and proud Scotsman Prof. Jim Smiley brought to light (and to life) the beauty and breadth of many things Scottish.
