This week's Global Village presentation was on how cats make known their "territories". Iwate University graduate student Chiharu Suzuki explained the amazing olfactory abilities of the domestic cat, as well as real-world applications for her research in feline behavior. Chiharu will soon embark on a trip to the UK to share her findings at conferences.

今週のグローバルビレッジのプレゼンテーションは猫がどのように縄張りを把握するかについてでした。岩手大学院生の鈴木千春さんが飼い猫の驚くべき嗅覚や、自身の猫の行動に関する研究の実用的な活用についても説明してくださいました。千春さんはこの後、イギリスで行われる、研究発表を控えているそうです！
