10月24日のグローバルビレッジは、元青年海外協力隊で感染症対策の専門家としてガテマラに赴任された及川敏恵さんが講演をされました。現在は、遠野市の限界集落において地域おこし協力隊として地域の活性化を図ろうと活動している及川さんは、途上国での経験がいかに今の仕事につながっているかをお話しくださいました。特別ゲストJICA岩手デスク野口氏も参加され、参加者10名で活発な質問や意見交換がなされました。

On Oct 24, Toshie Oikawa, an expert on combatting infectious diseases, gave a lecture about her experience in Guatemala as a Youth Overseas Cooperation Volunteer, and how it led to her current work--revitalizing marginal communities in Tono City, Iwate. Questions and comments were exchanged among the ten attendees. Special guest from the JICA Iwate Desk, Satoko Noguchi, also participated.
