「withコロナ時代の留学生たちは？」作文コンクール表彰式を行いました！

本日（3月5日）、岩手県留学生交流推進協議会（会長：岩手大学小川智学長、事務局：岩手大学国際課）主催の「withコロナ時代の留学生たちは？」作文コンクールの表彰式が岩手大学を会場に開催されました。

2012年から「岩手のいいところ写真展」を開催してきましたが、今年度はコロナウィルスの影響で、留学生のみなさんはどのように過ごしているか、その様子を共有したく、特別企画として作文コンクールを開催しました。その結果、全部で18件（岩手大学14、盛岡情報ビジネス＆デザイン専門学校3、上野法律ビジネス専門学校1）の応募があり、会長である岩手大学小川学長、喜多副学長、藪副学長らが出席して、受賞者に賞状と副賞を渡しました。

The Essay Contest Award Ceremony was held on March 5^th at Iwate University. Essay contest is the one of the programs provided by Iwate Association for International Students and Communities.
We had held the "Best of Iwate" International Student Photography Contest and Exhibition since 2012, but this year, we held the essay contest in order to share how international students were spending their daily life due to the influence of the COVID-19.
Total 18 students from Iwate University (14), Morioka Information Business College (3), Ueno Law and Business College (1) were submitted. Iwate University President Prof.Ogawa, Vice President Prof.Kita, and Vice President Prof.Yabu attended the award ceremony, and handed award certificate and prize to the winners.
We would like to thank you all the constituent organizations and companies for their support.
