岩手大学イーハトーブサマープログラム（IUIS）とは、日本語と日本文化を学ぶ2週間の夏季プログラムです。海外協定校に在籍する学生が対象で、日本語入門と中上級の２つのコースで募集します。参加者は、キャンパス内の留学生向け学生寮（国際交流会館）で生活しながら、日本語授業のほか、日本文化体験やフィールドトリップを通じて、日本や岩手について理解を深めることができます。

スタンダードプラン:（午前）日本語授業　（午後）日本文化体験　（週末）フィールドツアー

◆プログラム参加費
1人10万円～12万円（参加人数により変動します）

①盛岡までの旅費（往復の航空券・国内交通費）

◆参加対象者
海外協定校に在籍する学生（日本語レベルは　①入門／日本語未経験者　②中級前半／N3以上）

◆プログラム実施人数
最小8名～最大20名
・Aコース（入門日本語／日本語未経験者）：最大8～10名
・Bコース（中級前半　話す日本語／N3以上）：最大8～10名
※1大学5名まで参加可能です。

◆単位について
単位は付与しません。参加者には修了証書を発行します。

◆保険
来日前に各種海外旅行保険に事前加入が必要です。

◆参加費支払方法
クレジットカードでの支払い

We are pleased to announce that we are now taking applications for the Iwate University IHATOV Summer Program (IUIS) 2023.

The Iwate University IHATOV Summer Program (IUIS) is a 2-week program where students can learn Japanese language and culture. This program is open to students who are enrolled in our partner universities, and offers two Japanese courses, an introductory course and a lower intermediate course. Participants will be able to deepen their understanding of Japan and Iwate through not only Japanese classes but also Japanese cultural activities and field trips while staying in an international student housing on campus (International House).

◆Program Period
From August 17, 2023 to August 30, 2023 (13 nights, 14 days)

◆Organized by
Iwate University International Education Center

◆Venue
Iwate University and facilities in Morioka city and Iwate Prefecture

◆Accommodation
Iwate University International House (shared rooms, or single rooms in some cases)

◆Program Types
Standard plan: Japanese classes (morning), Japanese culture classes (afternoon), and field trips (weekends)

◆Participation Fee
100,000 - 120,000 JYN /person (Depending on the number of participants.)

◆Target Participants
Students enrolled in overseas partner universities
Japanese level:
① Introductory / no experience in Japanese
② Lower Intermediate　/ N3 or higher

◆Number of Participants
Minimum 8 students and maximum 20 students
- Course A (Introductory Japanese / no Japanese experience): Max. 8 to 10
- Course B (Intermediate & advanced speaking Japanese / N2 or above): Max. 8 to 10
*Up to 5 students per university may participate in this program.

◆Credits
No credits will be granted. Certificate of completion will be issued to the participants.

◆Insurance
Participants must purchase overseas travel insurance before coming to Japan.
